SAINTS SIGNINGS CAN'T WAIT FOR NEW SEASON TO BEGIN
New St Johnstone signing Jamie Gullan says he can't wait for a fresh challenge with Saints in the Scottish Championship as he became the latest to join Simo Valakari’s ranks.
The forward (25) will move to McDiarmid Park this summer following the expiry of his contract at Raith Rovers.
Jamie came through the youth ranks at Hearts before crossing the city to Easter Road to play for Hibernian. He has also spent time in the League of Ireland Premier Division with Dundalk.
After signing his contract, Jamie told the club's website: "I am over the moon to be here. As soon as the club were in touch and I had chats with the gaffer, I just wanted to get things done as quickly as possible.
"I am so excited to get back for pre-season and to meet all the players now. It is an exciting time to be at the club and a fresh challenge for me.
"I have spoken to the gaffer two or three times now. Every time I speak to him, I get a good feeling. We have discussed how I will fit in.
