Kayleigh follows a family tradition by graduating at UHI

UHI Perth celebrated a remarkable legacy of learning and service at the Graduation ceremony recently as Kayleigh Sailor graduated with a BA (Hons) in Child and Youth Studiesmarking three generations of one family deeply connected to the city college.

Kayleigh follows in the footsteps of her mother, Donna Willans, who graduated with an HND in Mechanical Engineering in 1999, as part of one of the final cohorts of the 20th century.

Her grandmother, Elaine Fairlie, is a beloved former staff member who dedicated over 30 years to supporting students and colleagues at UHI Perth.

Elaine’s own journey began in the 1990s, when she studied alongside fellow staff member Isobel Syme.
