Soccer Club in the USA.
The player who arrived with the least hype, Makenzie Kirk, has been best of the lot.
Yet it was asking a lot for him to go from Hearts 'B' team to top striker in a relegation fight.
TOO MANY CAPTAINS
Kyle Cameron was installed skipper by Craig Levein, an unusual move for a loan player.
The Notts County man talked a good game about being a leader yet didn't convince on the pitch.
The defence needed rebuilt after Andy Considine, Liam Gordon and Ryan McGowan departed and at no stage of the first six months of the season did it look a solid proposition.
Cameron lost his place in the team, was stripped of the armband and Nicky Clark took over.
But he too was eased out of the starting line-up by Simo Valakari through the turn of the year and Sven Sprangler took over.
The admirable Austrian was on the bench on Wednesday as Jason Holt led the team against Hearts.
ADAMA SIDIBEH'S ERRATIC FORM
The Gambian scored five times in eight games late on last season but only returned to that form very briefly.
Since a double against Kilmarnock in August in a 3-0 win, he only scored twice.
Transfer speculation last summer appeared to affect him greatly and he lost the plot at Tannadice in a 2-0 defeat.
