A young Pitlochry actor is taking a lead role in a monster of a show this summer.
Twenty-four-year-old Eden Barrie made her professional debut at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in White Christmas more than ten years ago.
She is now playing Loch Ness monster Nessa in the Loch Ness monster musical at PFT until August 16 - as well as A Toast Fae the Lassies (August 29 to September 24) and Grease (to September 27).
Eden, a former Pitlochry High School pupil, recently graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
She said: “It truly has always been a dream of mine to be part of a summer season at Pitlochry.
“Growing up here, my whole theatre education really came from watching the variety of shows at Pitlochry Festival Theatre and being involved in White Christmas was the catalyst for me wanting to become an actor.
“During my time at drama school, every summer I came home to work as part of the front of house team.
