A descendant of renowned Strathearn songwriter Carolina Oliphant will give a concert celebrating her legacy this weekend.
Pitlochry accordionist Freeland Barbour will appear with actress Gerda Stevenson at Innerpeffray Library on Sunday June 1 in The White Rose of Gask - The Life and Songs of Carolina Oliphant, Lady Nairne.
She wrote some of Scotland's most famous and well-loved songs including "Will ye no' come back again?" and "Charlie is my Darling".
Although she was a contemporary of Robert Burns, they never met.
