US 'encouraged' by Iran talks

IRAN and the United States have held a fourth round of talks over Tehran's rapidly advancing nuclear programme, with Washington officials saying American negotiators were “encouraged” by the discussions.

The talks took place yesterday in Muscat, Oman, again mediated by Omani officials. Iran described the talks as wrapping up after several hours.
