Tough outing for Ferguslie

Trip to Old Anniesland is one to forget
Ferguslie’s 1st XI travelled to Old Anniesland for Round Nine of the WDCU Premiership One, where skipper Taimoor Ahmad lost the toss and was asked to bat first.
It proved to be a tough outing with the bat, as Ferguslie were bowled out for just 54 runs in 29 overs—an innings to forget.
Only Uzair Ahmad (16) managed to reach double figures as Glasgow High-Kelvinside’s (GHK) bowling attack capitalised superbly on familiar home conditions.
In response, Ferguslie came out with real intent, setting aggressive fields in an attempt to put pressure on the hosts.
