The Skids back by popular demand
Paisley Daily Express
|August 01, 2025
After two sold-out gigs last year The Skids are back at The Bungalow tonight and this is a must-see gig.
-
The Skids are not just another punk band; they are creatively ambitious and still perform true to their core beliefs for their hard-won fans.
It is obvious to anyone who has seen them recently, they simply love playing live and their show is as energetic as it was years ago.
How do they do it? Richard Jobson explained: “The answer is very simple - don’t over think it - just do it. Enjoy every minute of it. Play the songs like it might be the last time. Give it everything.”
Although the lineup has changed, the punchy tunes and the ever-young Jobson is still the same.
Check Eventbrite for tickets, which includes limited options for a meet n’ greet audience with Jobson from 6pm. General admission from 7pm.
Tomorrow afternoon is a free gig and getting a few hours with Bits & Pieces is a bargain. And for a bonus, The Cortex are in support. Doors open at 1pm, music from 2pm. It is set to be a great day, get yourself down.
