Robinson aiming to reward St Mirren faithful with trip to National Stadium
Stephen Robinson admits he's desperate to reward the St Mirren support with a day out at Hampden.
The Buddies boss has been making history in Paisley ever since he walked through the door having clinched a hat-trick of Premiership top-six finishes and embarked on an European adventure.
But the one area that has alluded him thus far is pitching up at the national stadium - and he's looking to give Saints their first final appearance since winning the League Cup in 2013.
Robbo knows that he stands on the brink of another cup final - should they get past Stuart Kettlewell's Kilmarnock this evening at Rugby Park.
And the Saints boss insists looking at the black-and-white masses in the stands offers ample motivation.
"After being at Motherwell and seeing how much it brought people together, how much the club means to fans," said Robinson.
