Ayunga and Mandron's partnership is flourishing at Paisley
Jonah Ayunga says playing up front with Mikael Mandron is "enjoyable" and a system he prefers at St Mirren.
The Kenyan international netted during the first half against Rangers on Sunday at the SMiSA Stadium, giving the Saints a deserved lead after an impressive display.
The 28-year-old was on the end of an inch-perfect pass from his striking partner and finished at Jack Butland's near post after Mandron controlled the ball in the middle of the park from a Buddies clearance.
It is a partnership that has really flourished with both attackers getting double digits in terms of goals and assists last season - Mandron 11 and Ayunga 10.
And getting his first goal of the season was one that pleased the Saints striker.
