Storm Erin warning issued for Renfrewshire

The Met Office have issued a Storm Erin update as it warns Renfrewshire may be battered by strong winds and rain after the ongoing heatwave.

While the good weather is expected to continue for the next few days, forecasters believe the storm-which has wreaked havoc in Cape Verde-will influence weather in Scotland as it travels through the Atlantic.
According to the Met Office, Storm Erin is likely to affect weather in the UK in the latter part of the month, bringing intense winds and heavy rain.
