An award-winning care company in Renfrewshire collected more than 250 gifts in a bid to help seniors at Christmas.
Home Instead Renfrewshire and Barrhead - which provides a wide range of services including personal care, assistance with dressing and bathing, live-in care and specialist dementia care - hosted a 'Be a Santa to a Senior' campaign.
Last Monday, over 250 gifts were dropped off at the St Mirren Charitable Foundation for the organisation's Festive Friends event, with whom they work in partnership.
After being collected at a number of the company’s drop-off locations around Renfrewshire, items were personally wrapped at the offices before being handed over.
Through the Be a Santa to a Senior initiative, the company aimed to tackle loneliness among older people by creating fun activities and ensuring they had a hot festive dinner on Christmas Day, accompanied by a Christmas hamper.
