Robinson: We can emulate Brentford formula for success
Stephen Robinson says St Mirren are following the Brentford model for success as he hit back at critics of the Buddies style.
Cheap shots about his side taking route one into the Premiership's top six have stung Saints.
But the Paisley gaffer says the Bees' formula for surviving and thriving among the big boys in the English Premier League is one he has dipped into to get his team flying.
The West Londoners continue to upset the odds - like recently when Igor Thiago’s double helped secure a signature 3-1 win over Manchester United.
"I recruit boys with loads of talent so I feel very strongly when they get tarred with being a big physical side," said Robbo.
