Tribute Hector Gray McAndrew Adam

Those in attendance at the Braehead Arena on Sunday came together to pay tribute to Hector - known affectionately as Harry or Heccy - who sadly passed away on Monday, December 1.

A former ice hockey coach, Hector helped shape generations of Paisley players, including current Pirates Chris Turley, Chris Wilson and head coach Jan Turley.

They all benefitted from his guidance as youngsters discovering the sport and Hector’s loss has been deeply felt across the wider hockey community.

Daughter Sheila Muir says the Pirates family - fans and players alike -will be welcome at his funeral where he will make his final journey wearing his beloved Pirates top.

It will take place on Thursday, December 18 at Woodside Crematorium at 12noon.
