Scottish rock group The Primevals are heading to The Bungalow tonight.
The band were influenced by the MC5, The Stooges, Captain Beefheart, Pharoah Sanders, The Gun Club, The Cramps and 1960s American garage rock.
The Primevals have toured extensively in Europe and have recorded five sessions for BBC Radio 1, including a John Peel session which was released on 12” single.
They also recorded tribute covers for various compilation releases dedicated to Captain Beefheart, Suicide and The Byrds.
Support on the night will come from local favourites The Rants. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
Tomorrow afternoon's band, Dignity - The Deacon Blue Experience, is new on the scene and although this is their first gig at The Bungalow, the band are full of well-kent top players from bands you no doubt have seen before.
This is a not to be missed gig as this one is free and the next time it'll cost you ticket money. Doors are at 1pm.
