Nursery performance praised in educational report

Renfrewshire’s elected members look set to recognise the performance of a Paisley nursery in a recent inspection.

Councillors are expected to note the strengths of Jennyswell Nursery at a meeting of the education and children’s services policy board tomorrow.

It comes after the facility was graded good for both learning, teaching and assessment and securing children’s progress by Education Scotland in August.

A report, to be considered at the board, said: “Children’s services welcomes the process of audit undertaken by Education Scotland as supportive to continuous improvement in Renfrewshire’s education establishments and approved funded provider settings.
