I was a big fan of Netflix’s Troll (2022) - and given its open ending, a sequel was a strong possibility.
And this rock solid followup picks up three years later as Nora (Ine Marie Wilmann), Andreas (Kim Falck) and Captain Kris (Mads Sjogard Pettersen) leap back into action when a dangerous new troll awakens to threaten Norway's existence.
Almost everyone is back on board for Troll 2 but some of the magic is lost having already seen everything its predecessor had to offer - and much of the story beats are very similar.
