New route is on the up for US destination

A major airline has revealed a new route connecting Glasgow to a popular American state.

In its "largest-ever"transatlantic summer schedule for 2026, Aer Lingus has extended its long-haul network with the introduction of a new service through Dublin to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.
Aer Lingus said holidaymakers in the UK who choose to connect at Dublin can take advantage of United States pre-clearance.
