Inn team clip victory in very close title fight

The top two teams in the Paisley and District Darts League Second Division met at Court Bar to decide who would be crowned champions on Monday night.

When all 18 league games were completed last week, Clippens Inn and Pockets B had both won 15 games and had exactly the same winning legs score.
And the only way to determine the overall winner was to have a one-off match.
Neutral venue Court Bar was chosen and Clippens Inn struck first with Paul Deighan taking the opening singles match 3-2.
It was then time for Pockets to show what they were made of and a 3-1 win for Andrew Park was followed by team-mate Martin Quinn scoring a 3-0 victory to give his side the lead for the first time.
