Paisley has been named third in a league table for places in the UK with the strongest prospects for house price growth in 2026.
The town was named amongst nine locations in Scotland which top a list compiled by leading UK property portal and website Zoopla.
Motherwell, which currently has an average house price of £134,700, came out top. Following behind in second place on Zoopla's list of the hottest housing markets in the UK for 2026 is Glasgow.
According to the property experts, the average cost of a home in Scotland's largest city is £163,600.
The third-top UK housing market for the year ahead was found to be Paisley, where homes cost £139,500 on average.
