It’s difficult to believe that it’s only a couple of weeks until schools reopen for the start of the new school year after the summer holidays.

Good luck on exam results day

There will be many pupils excited to start, or even to return, to their school but this week there will also be apprehension about exam results coming through.

Skills Development Scotland expect around 15,000 learners across Scotland will receive SQA results today and are keen to highlight what support is available via their results helpline, which will offer information, advice and guidance to Scotland’s young people and their parents and carers.

The SDS results helpline number is 0808 100 8000. The full opening times this week are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 8pm and 9am to 5pm on Thursday and Friday.

Whatever your results, expert careers advisers can help you explore your options, so don’t delay - make that call and see what options are available to you and reassure you that there is no wrong path for your desired career.
