Firm should tech a bow for its work

I recently had the opportunity to catch up with the team at DXC Technology’s site in Erskine, where I was updated on the great work they are doing.

Employing around 800 people, the company offers many career opportunities for people across Renfrewshire and beyond in areas such as cyber security, automation, data engineering and artificial intelligence.

I was so pleased to hear about the work they are doing with local schools and colleges - from interactive activities and assemblies to site tours and career fayres.

There has also been a focus on encouraging more women and girls into STEM (science technology, engineering and mathematics), including what is an exciting partnership with Park Mains High School to run an all-female workshop.
