Feelgood factor made John stay

Having a "real feelgood factor" on his first day helped convince Declan John to stay at St Mirren, the Welsh international revealed yesterday.
-
The Buddies wing-back signed a new two-year deal last month after impressing boss Stephen Robinson and the fans since after joining in November.
Originally signed until January, John quickly made his mark and secured a contract to the end of the season before agreeing fresh terms on an extended stay.
And the defender feels right at home having settled in to his new surroundings so quickly.
