Two people used a stolen bank card to buy items, including scratchcards, from two Paisley shops totalling over £100.
Cheri Steele and Stephen Gill used a debit card, which they knew was stolen, on May 29, 2023 at various shops in Paisley.
Steele, of Brown Street in the town, went into the Nisa Store in McKenzie Street alongside Gill, of Longstone Place in Glasgow, and fraudulently used the bank card.
Steele, 35, and 56-year-old Gill then went to the Key Store in Well Street and used the stolen bank card not once, but twice.
The duo racked up a bill of £110.34 on three transactions using the debit card that didn’t belong to them.
Procurator fiscal depute Alyson McLaughlan told Paisley Sheriff Court: “Around 2.15pm on May 29, both accuseds entered the Nisa store on McKenzie Street.
