Council approves sale of vacant community centre
Paisley Daily Express
|November 03, 2025
A former community centre in Paisley’s Ferguslie Park has been declared “surplus to operational requirements” by Renfrewshire Council after elected members approved the move.
The building in Blackstoun Road, previously home to the Fathers’ Club and Caring Project, was marketed for sale in the summer and has been the subject of “several offers”.
However, for the local authority to move forward with any of these, the site had to be confirmed as surplus at a meeting of its communities and housing policy board.
