Children deserve summer of fun

I hope you've all been enjoying the summer break and managed to catch a bit of sunshine while it lasted! It's such a great time of year to get outside, spend time with family and create memories.

There is no shortage of free, fun-filled activities happening across Renfrewshire this summer for children, young people and families to enjoy.

Thanks to £100,000 of funding from Renfrewshire Council, community and voluntary groups have come together to deliver an exciting Summer of Fun programme.

From football and swimming to cheerleading, dance, drama, crafts, cooking, and even silent discos - there's truly something for everyone.

Families can also enjoy fun days out, sports and gaming sessions, and so much more.

The programme includes free sessions from groups like Street Stuff, OneRen libraries, and the council's summer activity camps - all supported by the hardworking community learning and development team.
