Plans to turn former venue into accommodation
A former live music venue in Paisley could be transformed into an aparthotel - if plans are given the green light by Renfrewshire Council.
A bid for planning permission has been submitted to convert the site at 38 New Street, previously home to The Cave, into a seven-unit facility.
The applicant wants to link the building to the neighbouring 40-42 New Street, which has approval for an 11-unit aparthotel, and combine the business use.
A planning statement, prepared by agent company CGA Design, explained: "This application seeks planning permission for change of use of a public house to seven serviced apartments on New Street, Paisley.
