Town man on the run remains on NCA 'Most Wanted' list

The agency publishes details of their 'Most Wanted' so the public are aware of who they are after - and are able to help track them down.

One of them is John James Jones, from Aughton, wanted for wounding with intent after allegedly assaulting two people in Ormskirk in 2018.

The 31-year-old is believed to have fled the North West in the immediate aftermath with information showing he stayed at a hotel in Madrid the night after the stabbings.

He left rapidly the next morning and is still being hunted by officers.

The NCA keeps a running list of the most wanted people nationwide. The public is warned not to approach any of those listed below and instead contact police immediately, our sister paper the Liverpool ECHO reports.

KEVIN Thomas Parle is wanted in connection with the Liverpool murders of 16-year-old Liam Kelly in 2004 and Lucy Hargreaves in 2005.

Parle is also known as Hemp and the hunt for the fugitive has been ongoing for more than 15 years with detectives in Merseyside desperate to speak to him over the murders.

Parle was questioned in connection with Kelly's murder but was released on bail - which he failed to answer. He is the subject of a European Arrest Warrant in relation to that investigation.

BORN in Croydon, Jack Mayle is wanted on suspicion of the supply of MDMA, methylphenidate (a pharmaceutical drug) and diazepam. He fled after being charged over allegedly running a drug line in South London and Surrey called the Flavour Quest.

It is alleged he worked with a dark web drug dealer to sell LSD and various pharmaceutical medications. He is easily identifiable, due to a diamond tattoo under his left eye, and a tattoo on the outside of his left forearm that reads 'Croydon!
