Congress slams railways over Boudh tunnel collapse, cites poor oversight despite ₹500 crore allocation
Odisha Congress president Bhakta Charan Das on Tuesday alleged that the soil cave-in at a tunnel under the Khurda-Bolangir project in Boudh district was caused by railway negligence.
The incident happened in Adenigarh area of Harabhanga block in Boudh district Monday afternoon. However, no one was injured in the mishap.
Railway authorities said the incident happened due to loose soil formation and continuous rainfall in the area.
