POSHAN eludes 3,882 for lack of Aadhaar updation

As many as 3,882 beneficiaries are now out of the ambit of PM POSHAN (POshan SHAKti Nirman) due to lack of Aadhaar-mobile number updation, while they could not be traced during facial recognition drive, according to Women and Child Development department officials.

Officials said most of the missing beneficiaries have migrated outside the district for livelihood, while several others have mobile numbers linked to their Aadhaar cards that are no longer active. This has disrupted the verification and enrolment process under facial recognition system (FRS).
