Poor road conditions trouble Johal residents
Orissa POST
|October 08, 2025
Despite assurances from the BMC and the state government to repair all city roads before Durga Puja, residents of Paragon City in the Johal area near Pahala, under Ward No. 4, continue to suffer due to deplorable road conditions.
Residents complained that the poor road conditions have made commuting extremely difficult. The road remains muddy and riddled with potholes, which worsen during the rains as they fill with water, posing serious risks—especially for two-wheeler rid-
ers, they said.
Residents also alleged that despite repeatedly visiting the BMC office to raise the issue, their complaints have gone unheard so far.
