A little over a month after issuing a directive that barred vehicle users without Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCCs) from purchasing fuel at filling stations and those with pending challans from obtaining PUCCs, the state government Tuesday informed the Orissa High Court that petrol and diesel will continue to be supplied at fuel stations even if a vehicle does not possess a pollution certificate

The Orissa High Court Tuesday held that a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) must be issued even if an e-challan is pending against a motor vehicle.
The state government has also informed the HC that petrol and diesel will continue to be supplied at fuel stations even if a vehicle does not possess a PUCC.
