Guv calls on students to drive innovation

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati Wednesday urged students to channel their education toward meaningful innovations and sustainable solutions that strengthen India’s self reliance.
Speaking at the fourth Foundation Day of Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR), he said the country must strive not only to “Make in India,” but also to “Design in India” and “Innovate for the World.”
“Education is not merely about acquiring knowledge,” the Governor said. “It is about nurturing intellect, integrity, and imagination.” He added that true education shapes responsible and compassionate citizens.
