Global Energy Leaders’ Summit Dec 5-7

Odisha will host the Global Energy Leaders’ Summit (GELS) 2025 in Puri from December 5 to 7, the state Energy department announced at an event where the GELS 2025 logo, symbolising harmony between nature and innovation, was unveiled by Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik along with Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo. The official website — www.gelsodisha2025. com — was also launched on the occasion.
The theme for the summit ‘Powering India: Sufficiency, Balance, Innovation’ focus on ensuring sufficient and efficient power, balancing ecology and economy, and fostering innovative solutions for the sector. Energy ministers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Bhutan are expected to join the summit.
