CM: Over 1.5cr in state to benefit from ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the fortnight-long “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Wednesday said that over 1.5 crore women in Odisha will benefit from the mega campaign.
Majhi said this while joining the PM’s event virtually from the state-level programme of the campaign organised at Exhibition Ground in Unit area of the City. Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, several ministers and MLAs were also present.
"The campaign in Odisha will focus on spreading awareness about women’s health, nutrition, and balanced diets, along with organising blood donation drives. “Screening camps will be held to detect diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell, as well as maternal and adolescent health issues,” an official said.
