Building a dream home can be a dream for life as the real estate prices are skyrocketing. A report issued by money control and Lisas Foras house purchase affordability index shows that Bhubaneswar is the second most expensive Tier2 cities. ‘The city has rental yield is less than 2.5 per cent and the lowest
rental yield is 1.7 per cent.
National Housing Bank (NHB) data shows that even top five per cent of urban families buying a home in Bhubaneswar would take more than 50 years. Real estate has taken a jump for quite some time. Middle class families are struggling to get good space in city.
