501% DA: Jeypore dy ranger arrested

Vigilance sleuths Saturday arrested Jeypore Forest Range Deputy Ranger Rama Chandra Nepak for possessing disproportionate assets (DA) to the tune of 501 per cent of his known sources of income.

On the allegation of possession of DA by Nepak, anti-corruption wing teams comprising six DSPs, five inspectors, nine ASIs, and other supporting staff Friday conducted raids at multiple locations related to the officer on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore.
During the raids, the sleuths found assets worth crores in the name of the officer and his family members.
