Wendy's square meal hit the spot - but Frosty left me cold

MCDONALD'S, Burger King, Five Guys - and now Wendy's has arrived in Nottingham to satisfy that burger craving.
The American chain has landed a prime spot in Upper Parliament Street, completing a fast-food triangle with Popeyes and Jolibee.
I went along to try one of the famous square burgers in the new restaurant, decked out in red and white like a cool US diner. A painted image of a freckled girl on the wall is the founder's daughter, Wendy, who inspired the name.
The Wendy's Double (£6.99) is served in a foil wrapping to keep it warm, benefiting those taking it away. It looks decent with the corners of two quarter-pound square patties sticking out of the round bun.
