A HEAVY police presence remained in Bulwell yesterday after a murder investigation was launched on Easter Sunday.
The body of a 59-year-old man was found in Cinderhill Walk, a small footpath off Cinderhill Road, at around 1.45pm on Sunday.
A 33-year-old woman also sustained injuries that are currently not believed to be life-threatening.
Two men, aged 30 and 43, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Officers taped off the junction between Seller's Wood Drive and Coventry Road, with smaller cordons in place in the area yesterday.
A blue tent could also bee seen in the front gardens around homes near the junction, with a small cordon also in place at the Seller's Wood Drive bus stop.
Following the incident, Detective Inspector Clare Gibson said: "This will have been devastating news for the victim's loved ones to receive.
"Our thoughts remain with them during this incredibly difficult time.
