Town centre improvement work begins

WORK is starting today on improving West Bridgford's high street in a bid to attract more shoppers.

Rushcliffe Borough Council is upgrading seating, adding new planters and street furniture on Central Avenue. The first phase will take around two weeks to complete, according to the council.
There are no planned road or footpath closures and disruption for pedestrians, cyclists and businesses will be kept to a minimum.
