'Tianne's presence was a blessing... it doesn't seem real she's gone'
Nottingham Post
|December 08, 2025
TIANNE Robinson moved to London to pursue a career in beauty therapy and hair after leaving school in St Ann’s.
She worked with cancer survivors and had become a respected celebrity stylist, with the aspirational 29-year-old having forged a successful career.
But her family have been left heartbroken after the young woman died suddenly in Nottingham, with the case now subject to a coroner's investigation.
“She was a beautiful soul and my life will never be the same. It doesn’t seem real,” Tianne’s mother, Amanda Taylor, said.
Tianne went to Elliott Durham School, now called Nottingham Academy, and made a lasting impact on her friends through her inspirational resilience after losing her father at the age of 12.
Ms Taylor, 50, said: “She was so special and bright and she should be here. Tianne achieved so much despite the fact we lived in St Ann's, which has a stigma around it.
“Despite how much her father’s passing affected her, she still helped other people and was kind to everyone.
“She was so kind and easygoing and laid back. She didn’t have a bad bone in her body.”
