Teen drug dealer spared prison over being victim of 'human trafficking'

A TEENAGE drug dealer who was caught by undercover officers selling on the streets of Nottingham has been spared jail as he is the victim of human trafficking.
Nottingham Crown Court heard how officers found £1,500 of heroin and crack cocaine at the Radford address of then-18-year-old Jordan Mullins.
The now-22-year-old's sentencing hearing was told he had been forced to sell to local users after building up a debt.
But since his arrest four years ago, the defendant, who has a previous conviction for selling illegal substances from when he was aged 15, has remained out of trouble.
Handing him a two-year jail term, suspended for two years, Judge Michael Auty KC said: "Please be under no illusions at all how seriously the courts regard offences such as dealing class A drugs.
