'Significant disruption' fear over medics' strike

PATIENTS have been warned of “significant disruption” when resident doctor strikes begin later this week.
The medics, formerly known as junior doctors, make up around half the medical workforce in England and will begin industrial action across the country in a row over pay at 7am tomorrow. The action will last until Wednesday.
Nottinghamshire health leaders said emergency departments would likely be busier than usual and have urged people to choose the right services, such as urgent treatment centres.
