NOTTINGHAM Panthers secured another vital two points in the Challenge Cup as Kevin Carr sealed a 33-shot shutout in a 3-0 victory on the road at Coventry Blaze.

Panthers went ahead after only 48 seconds when a great move by Brendan Harris saw him burst through the Coventry defence and although his shot was saved by Mat Robson, Matt Marcinew buried the rebound (00:48).
