TIKTOK STAR HAD TO OVERCOME CRIPPLING GAMBLING PROBLEM
A RAPPER has become an internet sensation after amassing millions of views of a new song about his struggles with addictions.
Jourdan Blair, who performs as Jah Digga, now spends his days teaching and helping young people make music in an outreach project at Community Recording Studio in St Ann’s.
While he has enjoyed success in the local music scene over the years, Jourdan has recently risen to TikTok stardom with more than a million views of his latest music video.
The 38-year-old, who has more than 53,000 followers on Instagram, said: “I had a really bad problem. I had a gambling addiction, I was betting on things I didn’t even have information on.
“I was just chasing the urge. There were times I didn’t have electricity and nothing in my house, but I’d still find the money to go to the casino - it was a really dark place.
