Police in plea over violent attack on man drawing cash from an ATM

POLICE are appealing to the public for information after a violent cashpoint robbery in which a man had his head slammed against a shop window.

The victim had taken £200 out of cash point before his attacker headbutted him and then slammed his head against a shop window.
The victim was attacked outside the Sainsbury's in Carlton Street, Nottingham, at about 4pm on March 17.
The victim was taken to hospital and he reported that the £200 he withdrew had disappeared during the incident.
