Personal crisis resulted in hallucinations and being sectioned...

"I turned into an old woman overnight," she said. "I woke up feeling anxious about everything and anything - I felt like I had nowhere to turn".

Now a mental health coach, Joe from Mansfield Woodhouse, was working as a manager for a local authority at the time. With responsibility for a budget of £2 million and hundreds of staff, she says it is here where she began experiencing serious stress for the first time in her life.

"I had loads of life events going off all at once," she said. "I was caring for my dad with cancer and I lost both step-parents.

"But the way I dealt with it was to work hard and play hard I'd take calming tablets to relax me, go out and have alcohol and then be on the energy drinks in the morning.

"I was totally burning the candles at both ends".
