Paterson: We're ready to bring it home

MARTIN Paterson is fully focused on getting the "right result" in Notts County's first home League Two game of the campaign today.
Salford City visit Meadow Lane (12.30pm) and Paterson, who took over as Magpies head coach in the summer, has his sights on all three points after a frustrating away draw against Newport County last weekend.
"It's exciting, I'm looking forward to it, but I always err on the side of caution with excitement as a head coach because I have a job to do, which is clear when we play at home," said Paterson.
"We've prepared properly for Salford so I'm delighted to have the first home game but I know the responsibility we carry to get the right result. The crowd were already fantastic against Cardiff City (for a friendly) and there is no difference in terms of what I expect from the group because there are no friendlies in my mind.
