BOSS BELIEVES HIS SIDE CAN BE MORE RUTHLESS
MARTIN Paterson wants Notts County to go in for the kill in front of goal to back up their improved recent performances.
The Magpies got back to winning ways last time out against Oldham Athletic, continuing their strong home form, but what they want now is to put a run together to pull themselves up from mid-table mediocrity.
A significant positive from the latest victory was getting Alassana Jatta back in the goals, as the Gambian striker needed time to fully regain his form following a delayed start to the campaign.
Matthew Dennis led the line with plenty of goals in Jatta's absence but now he is on his way back from injury and needs time to get up to full speed.
