Paterson focus on areas to improve before top home test

MARTIN Paterson’s focus remains on what second-placed Notts County can improve on in order to sustain their winning form through this challenging run of fixtures.
The 2-0 away win against Grimsby Town last Saturday was the Magpies’ third victory on the bounce and their seventh in the last 10 League Two outings.
Tomorrow, the Magpies welcome League Two leaders Walsall to Meadow Lane (12.30pm) and on the form graph, Paterson’s side are rolling.
But to maintain that, they need to look further for ways to up their game as they assess the different kinds of challenges they have faced in recent matches.
Notts’ head coach has praised the togetherness his team have shown during the run of three consecutive wins.
"It's easy to talk about all the things you're doing well after you win a couple of games,” said Paterson. “But I’m more interested in what we can still improve than I am in looking at other things
